The Joey "chari-tee"

In the summer of 2009, my best friend Joey spent 2 months in Palestine, and a lot of his time was devoted to volunteering at a refugee camp there. Beside the balloons is the word "hope" in Arabic, and the image of the girl is a rendering of a graffiti painting on one of the walls surrounding the camp by the infamous artist Banksy. On the painting is the quote, "There will always be hope."

Israeli/Palestinian relations are becoming increasingly tense. There have been many attempted efforts on both sides to find some sort of peaceful coexistence, but it is still not enough.

I will be donating all profits from this shirt to the American Charities for Palestine. If you decide to donate as well, shoot me a message and I'll give you a special discount code because you're great.
